A little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Halloween, a whole lot of LOVE
Law and Dante had the most ‘Vegas’ wedding weekend you could imagine. They decided to get married on Halloween (because how fitting) and with the chaos and uncertainty of 2020 what better excuse to jet off to Vegas to do just that? Their wedding was one of my favorites I’ve ever shot because they turned it into a whole weekend affair. Their little group of friends and family got to Vegas on Thursday just in time to have a combined bachelor/bachelorette party on Fremont Street that evening, then had a full day Friday to run around Vegas, Saturday was the actual wedding (on Halloween of course), and then Sunday everyone enjoyed a day after pool party before saying their goodbyes. It was without a doubt the perfect wedding weekend in Vegas…
if law and dante’s wedding had a theme song:
thursday: a combined bachelor/bachelorette party on fremont street
Law and Dante kicked off their Vegas wedding weekend with a combined bachelor/bachelorette party that included a party bus, the iconic ‘Welcome to Vegas’ sign, and of course Fremont Street. It was the perfect start to their wedding weekend to set the tone for the days to come…
saturday: a halloween wedding in vegas and reception at the cosmo
Following the combined bachelor/bachelorette on Thursday, everyone had a free day on Friday for a much needed recovery and chance to run around Vegas at their own pace before rallying for WEDDING DAY! Once Saturday rolled around it was officially Halloween AND wedding day all rolled into one so the day’s itinerary was non-stop celebrating. We started at The Cosmopolitan Hotel where Law and Dante were both getting ready in their respective suites. After that everyone headed to The Chapel Of Flowers for the ceremony in true Vegas fashion.
Because of how The Chapel of Flowers structured their packages they had their in-house photographer taking photos of the actual ceremony but don’t worry, I was right back at it with my camera in hand when everyone returned to the penthouse suite at The Cosmo for the reception to party the night away…
sunday: day-after pool party
And of course was it really a weekend in Vegas if a pool party wasn’t involved? We ended up doing a fun little “day-after” shoot in Law and Dante’s room before joining everyone at The Cosmo’s pool to relax and say our goodbyes before and heading for the airport. It was the perfect end to a party filled weekend…
