On a beautiful November day, the Mannings shared their love in Keaton’s childhood hometown of Coppell, Texas. This hometown wedding was extra sentimental, and was filled with so many luxury feel wedding touches and details.
Every wedding is special for different reasons, but what makes the Manning’s union extra sweet is right in the title – hometown wedding. This was very sentimental to me because this is also my hometown (fun fact: Keaton and I went to the same high school!) This was a wedding where they truly made the day exactly what they wanted it to be; free of pressure from following wedding norms, especially when it came to their timeline for the day.
I really enjoyed the unique way the couple set up their wedding timeline. The day started with Keaton getting ready at her childhood home in Coppell, TX. Getting ready in her childhood home made Keaton so relaxed and she had the best time with her parents and bridesmaids.
Then we drove over to St Ann Parish where the ceremony would take place which is also the church Keaton grew up attending. The space had beautiful murals, and the ceremony was personal and very touching.
After that, there was a 2 hour break. During this time, I followed Keaton and Evan to Hotel Vin in Grapevine. We took some really fun and eccentric wedding portraits around the hotel, in the hallways, the grapevine botanical gardens, and even a local grocery store! I loved this break because we were not rushed to get “the shot”. We took so many great unique wedding photos! This also really allowed Keaton and Evan to enjoy some time alone together and soak in their wedding day without the pressure of keeping up a tight timeline.
After our bride and groom wedding portrait session, we met back up for the reception which was held at George Coffee and Provisions in Coppell, TX. Who knew you could have a reception at a coffee shop?! This was such an untraditional wedding venue, but I was here for it! This venue had everything — a nice seating area, patio space with string lights, cozy living space area, and oh yeah, did I mention they serve coffee too?! I love couples where you break the norm and just go for it! The Mannings danced the night away with their family and friends under the Texas moon, and they had the time of their lives!
“Madison was fantastic! She photographed our wedding and the photos turned out so well! Also, Madison delivered the photos on time and had great communication with us leading up to the event and on the day of the wedding. We are so happy we chose her to capture our big day!”
It was such an honor to capture these two and to do it in my hometown as well! That was the icing on the cake! Congrats to the Mannings!
